For more than a half-century, the Carrollton Fire Fighters Association (CFFA) IAFF Local 2182 answered your call, keeping our wonderful community safe.
Our association represents 170-plus emergency responders, who are on duty 24/7 to ensure the safety of Carrollton’s families, businesses, and visitors.
But our commitment doesn’t stop there.
When we're not on duty keeping our community safe, our fire fighters are deeply involved in community events, strengthening the bonds within Carrollton. Our association is proud to run a charity that supports our community and our members, allowing us to give back to the community we've taken an oath to protect.
Our Mission
Our mission is to advocate for our firefighters and their families, ensuring they have the tools they need to keep us safe. We’re also active in advocating for community needs at the legislative level.

For more than 50 years, the Carrollton Fire Fighters Association IAFF Local 2182 has been a constant advocate for our fire fighters and the community we serve. Our 170-plus members are ready day and night to keep the families, businesses, and visitors of Carrollton safe. Our association is also active at the legislative level, advocating for the fire service and the communities we serve throughout the state.
We pledge to continue standing up for our fire fighters and their families, ensuring they have what they need to do their jobs now and in the years to come. Our association is honored to be part of the community we've taken an oath to protect. Carrollton Fire Fighters Association Peer Support Team is dedicated to the mental health of our members. CFFA Peer Support Team is here to assist our members and their families by providing them with information and direction in a time of crisis.
